Reflecting on the 3rd Annual “A Walk for Shaunta

Updated: May 6

Last June, we were honored to host the 3rd Annual “A Walk for Shaunta”, a heartfelt event dedicated to celebrating the legacy of Shaunta Monica Murff. Held every year during the 3rd to 4th week of June, this event is a time to remember the incredible light that was Shaunta.

A Day to Celebrate Legacy and Purpose

Shaunta Monica Murff was a remarkable woman whose life was defined by her deep compassion and unwavering commitment to helping those in need. From organizing trips to the Greater Chicago Food Depository to handing out food in the winter and hosting Christmas dinners for women in shelters, Shaunta embodied what it means to live with purpose and generosity.

This year’s walk was a resounding success, with many individuals joining us to honor Shaunta. Families, friends, and supporters walked side by side, sharing stories, and laughter. It was a powerful reminder of the community Shaunta inspired in life and continues to inspire today.

Looking Ahead: Join Us for the 4th Annual Walk
